Cocoa Beach Woman’s Club Celebrates the Close of the 2025-2026 Club Year

The Cocoa Beach Woman’s Club concluded another successful and inspiring club year with its 2026 Year-End Luncheon and Installation of Officers held on May 7, 2026, at the Cocoa Beach Country Club. The event celebrated a year of community service, leadership, fundraising, education, and friendship while looking ahead to an exciting 2026-2027 season.

Outgoing President Marge Jones reflected on the accomplishments of the past year and recognized the dedication of members who worked tirelessly to support community service projects throughout the area. Members also celebrated the final meeting of the 2025-2026 year before the club breaks for the summer and returns in September.

One of the highlights of the luncheon was the recognition of the club’s scholarship recipients. The Cocoa Beach Woman’s Club proudly awarded scholarships to outstanding students pursuing higher education in a variety of fields:

  • Jocelyn Noel – Keiser University, Culinary Arts
  • Sean Brodigan – Eastern Florida State College, Business Management
  • Addison Burger – Florida State University, Marketing
  • Lucy Cummings – Virginia Polytechnic Institute, Aerospace Engineering
  • Alex Hacker – University of North Florida, Business Management

The club also officially installed its new Board of Officers for the 2026-2027 year:

  • President – Bernadette Hansen
  • 1st Vice President – Carol Kruse
  • 2nd Vice President – Emily Browder
  • 3rd Vice President – Susan Mara
  • Recording Secretary – Cara Seidel
  • Corresponding Secretary – Marilyn Bollo
  • Media Secretary – Jami Andre
  • Treasurer – Marilyn Grigsby
  • Assistant Treasurer – Sharon Haydon
  • Advisor – Marge Jones

During the April General Meeting, members approved the new board and discussed future fundraising initiatives and community service opportunities for the upcoming club year.

As the club pauses for the summer months, members are already looking forward to continuing their mission of service and community involvement when meetings resume in September. The Cocoa Beach Woman’s Club remains committed to making a positive difference in the community through volunteerism, leadership, education, and outreach.
