A group of Cocoa Beach Woman’s Club Members attended the Veteran’s Day Ceremony at the Cocoa Beach VFW to honor veterans from all services. There was a special tribute to the First Battalion Third Marines celebrating the 20th anniversary of the 2nd Battle of Fallujah.

The ceremony included the presentation of the colors by the Cocoa Beach High School ROTC High School, a resounding rendition of the Halls of Montezuma, Star Spangled Banner and God Bless America. We also learned the history of how Veteran’s Day began and after the poignant ceremony we were able to interface with the Veterans, listen to their stories and places they have been and celebrate their unselfish service to our country.
