  • OCEARCH and Aquarium Updates
    What a great turnout for supporters of the Brevard Zoo and the upcoming Bowen Aquarium!   • Recycling Sneaker Project – latest donations!
    Another 5 bags of recycled sneakers have been sorted, packed and donated… It’s a bit of a stinky job but President Marge Jones and Clare Jones gloved up and packed those bags! Proceeds from this project benefit Brevard Zoo this year. Thanks for all the donations.. We’ll re-commence in our new club year.
  • Donations to Brevard Humane Society
    The Cocoa Beach Woman’s Club again donated to the Brevard Humane Society. The members collected food, litter, towels, blankets and also made online donations.   • Earth Day – Lagoon Clean Up
    April 26, 2025, In celebration of Earth Day, 220 GWA volunteers removed 2,114 pounds of trash and debris from 23 miles of Indian River Lagoon shorelines. Sadly many CBWC had other commitments that day including the State Convention but Linda Chattin was able to make it out to represent our Environmental group. Well done Linda.
