89 members of District 6 gathered for the Annual Arts and Crafts Show and Meeting.

Hosted by the CBWC, guests included current GFWC Florida President, Sara Dessureau and Past GFWC Florida President, Linda O’Toole.

After a bountiful breakfast, District 6 Leader, Sally Kramer called the meeting to order and reports were given as the 60 art pieces were being judged.

Our District’s Annual reporting reflected an amazing 53,206 service hours!

Final totals and an update about the Flight to Honor were given by Jan Gates, Chair.

Julia George of the CBWC was awarded the honor of D6 Volunteer of the Year.

A buffet lunch was served and attendees had time to view the Art, with first and second place ribbons awarded.

We heard updates from the Juniors and Deltona Juniorettes.

Brevard Juniors President, Allie Rines spoke about sensory adaptations as we played with clay!

Handmade Cards were created to donate to the Cocoa Beach Community Paramedic and we collected hundreds of dollars worth of art supplies to be distributed.

A generous 50/50 was won, proceeds to be donated to Matthew’s Hope of Brevard.

We look forward to the Spring District meeting, May 16th at Deltona Woman’s Club!
