The Brevard Schools Foundation manages scholarship applications for 2025 graduates of Brevard Public Schools. The Cocoa Beach Woman’s Club is awarding a minimum of two (2) $1000 scholarships exclusively to graduating seniors from Cocoa Beach High School.
Cocoa Beach Woman’s Club Academic Scholarship
Students must be attending Cocoa Beach Jr/Sr High School and be a resident of Cocoa Beach, Cape Canaveral or Patrick Space Force Base. Students must have a minimum 3.0 GPA and have a minimum of 75 verifiable community service hours. Student must attend a four (4) year college or university as a full-time student (12 credit hours). Student must complete a 250-word essay “What sets you apart from the other applicants and makes you deserve this scholarship?”
Cocoa Beach Woman’s Club Vocational, Trade & Technical School Scholarship
To qualify, applicants need to be students at Cocoa Beach Jr./Sr. High School and residents of Cocoa Beach, Cape Canaveral, or Patrick Space Force Base. A minimum 2.0 GPA is required. Students must be enrolling in a one- or two-year career and technical education (CTE) program at a community college, technical training institution, apprenticeship, or vocational training program. Enrollment can be part-time (6 credit hours) or full-time (12 credit hours), and the program should lead to a vocation that does not require a BA or BS degree. Applicants must also submit a 250-word essay addressing the prompt: “What program of study do you plan to pursue (trade or technical)? Why have you chosen this area of study?”
