The Cocoa Beach Woman’s Club embraced the GFWC National Day of Service by contacting 3 Food Pantries (Lutheran Resurrection Church, First United Methodist and St. Vincent de Paul Society, asking them to provide us a list of items most needed food items .

With collaboration of our local Publix on October 5th we held a very successful food drive, where we received donations from our members and our community amounting to 1,252 lbs. of food and approximately $800.
We then organized all items collected, and distributed them in equal amounts to each food pantries. Marcy Zadina, (as always the trooper) loaded up her car three times and delivered to each of the food pantries before the Hurricane Milton rolled into town.
