A Big “THANK YOU” goes to the club members who assisted to make the 58th Fine Arts Festival a GREAT success.

In addition to the Fine Art Show, a Student Art Show was held with 253 Brevard County Students registered with 453 pieces of student artwork! Over 330 children participated in the Children’s Hands-On on Saturday alone.

Rosaline Evans, Susan Burrows, Pam Johnson and new member Gayle Allenback are to be commended for their volunteerism. All together, they contributed 30 hours of service to the Festival. Pam, Gayle and Rosaline assisted with the Final Judging Gallery; Susan arrived at 7 AM to assist with the Artists Breakfast; and Rosaline returned for a 2nd day of service arriving at 7 AM to assist with the return of the pieces of Art selected for Final Judging that were left in our care overnight and stayed throughout the day to help with the record keeping, etc.

Since 1968, the Cocoa Beach Woman’s Club has been a sponsor of the Space Coast Art Festival. Throughout the past 55 years, the club has either completely directed the Festival or had a club member on the Board of Directors representing the Club. The CBWC’s major responsibility has always been to oversee the Final Judging Gallery and continues to be so today.
